Welcome to a new laundry experience for 2025 at Todd Layne Cleaners. We have listened to our customers’ feedback and made several enhancements to our laundry service. We have a new laundry menu, offering multiple choices for premium detergent, stain fighter, fabric softener and color booster. Click here to see our menu. You can choose your water and dryer temperature and give us any other special requests that you have. A new feature that we are offering is Air Drying. We have some of our dryers specially calibrated to use only dehumidified air and no heat. This is great for delicates and gym gear. This is one of the pain points that many customers tell us has prevented them from sending out their laundry.

For customers with allergy/chemical sensitivities or those that recently had a baby, we have a enhanced laundry service to assist. In addition to hypoallergenic detergent options, we can flush out the washer with vinegar before using it and wipe down the dryer drum to prevent any type of cross contamination. Staff wipe down folding tables and wear special gloves and masks.

Since 2006, we have made a promise to our customers never to mix their clothes in the same washer with anyone else’s. This is something that is done by many of our competitors. If you are wondering how this works, they place all of your clothes in a large mesh bag and place it in a large washer with other customers’ clothing. It’s wrong for many reasons, including clothing not being washed properly, excessive heat in the dryer and cross contamination.

We have a new loyalty program for all customers’ that gives you points for every dollar that you spend with us. Once you reach a minimum threshold, you can easily get credits towards future orders with us.

• Hang Dry – Returned damp on hangers (no limit and a discount is available if you have more than 5 garments for hang drying)
• Air Dry – Returned dry on hangers or folded (no limit and a bulk discount is available if you have more than 5 garments for air drying.) This new service uses specially calibrated dryers with dehumidified air and no heat.

Do you have Lululemon or other nice gym clothes and other delicates? We can either hang or air dry these items. Hang dry items are taken out of the washer and returned damp on hangers. Air drying is a new feature at Todd Layne. Garments are placed in a specially calibrated dryer with just dehumidified air and no heat. These items are returned dry on hangers or folded.

We offer free pickup and delivery in Manhattan seven days a week. From our storefronts on the Upper East Side, we can pickup in as little as an hour, sometimes faster if you live near our store. Since many of our customers have returned to the office, we have added additional early morning pickups and late night pickups and deliveries. To make sure that we always have someone to pickup and deliver, we use our own staff for local destinations, a courier service for areas outside of the Upper East Side and Uber to help us out on weekends.
