Did you know that Soy sauce originated in China 2,800 years ago and is also called soya sauce?! All varieties of soy sauce are salty, earthy, brownish liquids intended to season food while cooking or at the table, not for wearing on clothes. But if that happens then we have the solution.
Soy sauce stain removal:
Spray with diluted dishwashing soap; tamp (to force in or down by repeated, rather light, strokes) with a soft-bristled brush. Flush with water, apply vinegar, and tamp; let it stand several minutes, and flush again. If color remains, apply hydrogen peroxide and let it stand. If color still remains, apply 1 or 2 drops of ammonia to wetted area. Flush with water. Treat area with an enzyme detergent, then wash. If color remains after washing, apply powdered nonchlorinated color-safe bleach, such as sodium percarbonate; rewash.
