According to Fooducate, Yellow mustard (a.k.a. regular mustard) is the most commonly used mustard in the US. The rest of the world calls it American mustard. It is a very mild mustard colored bright yellow due to the use of turmeric. It was introduced over 100 years ago in 1904 by George T. French who bet that Americans would prefer milder tasting mustard than what was available at the time. I’m not sure if George T. French was right about us Americans loving milder mustard, but what I do know is that when I think about mustard, I think about hot dogs, and when I think about hot dogs, I think about Americas favorite pastime, baseball. When mustard and baseball come together, you can bet disgusting mustard stains make an appearance. Don’t let those mustard stains ruin your clothes, follow this tip:
Mustard stain removal: Using an eyedropper, flush stain with vinegar; then wash with dishwashing detergent.
