About two months ago, Todd Ofsink, Founder of Todd Layne Cleaners and Laundromat, mentioned to me that he wanted to create an event that would bring the neighborhood together. Being the Creative Director, I knew I had to come up with something out of the ordinary. Something that would be more appealing than Netflix. Something that would get people moving, social, and happy. I used inspiration from the past to plan a 1920s-style party. From decorations, to music, to hors d’oeuvres, to drinks, we re-created the Speakeasy atmosphere. The night rolled in, and I was thrilled to see group after group of passerbys and customers alike coming in to check out what all the buzz was about.
The party was a blast, and its success got the attention of the American Dry Cleaner Magazine! Tim Burke, writer for the magazine, contacted us to learn more. In addition to the party, our specialty services and charity work captured his interest. We told him that in addition to having an APP, we also offer package service for our customers without doormen.
