At Todd Layne Cleaners, we take pride in calling ourselves the Green Cleaners of New York City. We believe that we are one of the few players in our industry truly striving to consider the impact our industry has on the environment, while we provide you with the highest quality garment cleaning services. Being a Green Cleaners to us doesn’t only mean that we use non-toxic, eco-friendly green dry cleaning methods. Instead, it means we take an environmentally conscious approach to all of the services that we render.
For example, in addition to using a new state-of-the-art Wet Cleaning method, we also recycle our garment hangers. We are in the process of developing our own reusable dry cleaning bags that will help cut down on waste. As another example, you might not realize that our Wash & Fold service uses detergents made by Seventh Generation, a leading maker of household and cleaning products specifically designed to be better for the environment.
Lastly, we have also made significant investments in equipment and machinery that use less energy, while still providing the same or better garment cleaning capabilities. We also have a new state-of-the-art Laundromat. To the extent possible, we also work to utilize use more environmentally friendly energy resources, such as natural gas burners.
